Pretty In Pink - Orange County Bridal Shower
My sweet baby sister is getting married next month. I am beyond honored to be her Maid of Honor, (Okay, technically Matron...but that doesn't mean I'm old, right?) and knew that I had to do everything I could to throw her the most amazing bridal shower. And what do I think of when I think amazing bridal shower? PINK! And boy do I mean pink... pink flowers, pink linens, pink desserts, pink silverware, pink napkins - pink, pink and more pink, right down to the M&M's on our cookies! A touch of gold here and there finished our look, and with our guests dolled up in their best pink attire, we were ready to celebrate our bride-to-be.
It was a wonderful afternoon full of sunshine and pink champagne. My sister was glowing and that's all this big sis needed! I love you Chew Bear.
The gorgeous Bride-to-Be! |

So lucky to be this bride's big Sissy! |
Thank you 100 times to my very amazing friend and fellow bridesmaid Erica...I couldn't have pulled off this pink extravaganza without you! xoxo

{taylor faith} - orange county baby shower - sip & see
A very special friend of mine recently gave birth to the sweetest baby girl, Taylor Faith. Rather than throwing her a traditional baby shower, her friends and I opted to host a brunch to celebrate the arrival of Taylor, and to honor her amazing mama, Leigh.
Sage Restaurant in Newport Beach provided the perfect setting for our "Sip & See" and perfectly complimented the french country look we chose. The food was so tasty. You must try their strawberry shortcake...yum! A friend of Leigh's created the beautiful paper goods, all matching our owl theme - "Guess Whoooo's Here?!"
It was a beautiful day, celebrating a beautiful family who is beyond dear to my heart! I'm so very happy to share these photos with you. xo

{holly jae} ETA 5.6.12 - Orange County Baby Shower
I am so excited to share these photos with you! I had the joy/pleasure/honor (I could keep going...) of throwing a baby shower for my cousin Brandi. She is simply amazing, and if I do say, the most adorable pregnant woman ever! I wanted her shower to be light, sweet and oh-so-pink! I had so much help from Rachel Smith of Fine and Dandy Paperie. She helped to design the perfect paper goods to match our theme. Brandi's baby girl, Holly Jae, (cutest name ever!) is due in May and I can't wait to meet her.

{sheena + ronaldo} the resort at pelican hill, orange county wedding coordinator
I simply can't say enough about this wedding! Sheena and Ronaldo are such a beautiful couple, and I had such a wonderful time working on their wedding. Sheena was perfection! Calm, cool and collected - not to mention, gorgeous! I love how beautifully her wedding dress cascaded down the aisle, like her own version of peacock feathers to match the decor of the day. :)
There were so many personal touches I hardly know where to begin! My favorite, favorite piece of decor had to be Sheena's birdcage collection. Debbie at Flower's Etc. designed the perfect mix of soft roses and wildflowers to fill the birdcages, each one looking just a little different than the next; and...as if that weren't enough, she absolutely stunned us all with her aisle petal design. Amazing! Other vendors for the day included Joe Latter (photography), Elysium Productions (videography), Amber Event Production (lighting and draping), and Vive Entertainment. Could there be a dreamier list of vendors?!
What do you get when we two restaurant owners get married? The most amazing dinner menu ever...seriously, my mouth was watering just reading it! From lamb to gelato, these guests left with full tummies. And, each were given tiny jugs of homemade maple syrup to take home with them, yum! (check out Sheena & Ronaldo's amazing restaurant, and even more amazing beer at The Salted Pig) Erin and her staff at The Resort at Pelican Hill were simply magic!
I could go on and on, but you're here for the pics, right? So, without further adieu, thanks to Joe Latter here are a few of my favorites of the day!
Sheena & Ronaldo - thank you for trusting us to make your dream day a reality. You are both such kind, beautiful people with a real love for eachother. We had such a wonderful time! Hope to see ya at The Salted Pig! xo
